Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 17, 2026

Udabyte LLC d/b/a FinancialHealth.io uses a minimal set of cookies required to operate the FinancialHealth.io platform. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or behavioral analytics that follow you across sites.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They allow websites to remember information about your visit — such as whether you are logged in — so you don't have to re-enter it every time.

Cookies We Use

accessToken / refreshToken

Essential — httpOnly
Required

Securely stores your JWT authentication session. httpOnly cookies cannot be read by JavaScript, which protects against XSS attacks. Required to keep you logged in.

Duration: Access token: 2 hours · Refresh token: 7 days

__stripe_mid / __stripe_sid

Essential — Third-party (Stripe)
Required

Used by Stripe during payment flows for fraud prevention and payment session management. Only active when you interact with billing or rent payment features.

Duration: Session or up to 1 year (Stripe-managed)

theme_preference

Functional
Optional

Remembers your light/dark mode preference so the interface loads correctly on return visits.

Duration: 1 year

What We Don't Use

We explicitly do not use:

  • Google Analytics or other behavioral analytics cookies
  • Facebook Pixel or other social media tracking
  • Advertising or retargeting cookies
  • Cross-site tracking technologies
  • Fingerprinting or device ID tracking beyond standard server logs

Local Storage

In addition to cookies, we use browser localStorage for non-sensitive preferences such as UI state (e.g., sidebar collapse, table sort order). This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Managing Cookies

Because we only use essential and minimal functional cookies, disabling cookies will affect platform functionality — specifically, you will not be able to stay logged in.

To manage cookies in your browser:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy if we add new features that require cookies. We will notify you of meaningful changes via email and in-app notice.
